Pink Floyd The Final Cut 2004 Torrent
I found the following collection in a torrent at Pirate.cough.splutter.cough. Anyways, can anyone (except jim,for obvious reasons ) tell me if there is any truth to this? Is this out of date now? I do apologise if this has been answered before (many times probably) Best versions of Pink Floyd albums according to forum participants Steve Hoffman. 1967 - The Piper at the Gates of Dawn (Toshiba-EMI Records CP32-5269 1A2 TO ) 02. 1968 - A Saucerful Of Secrets (Toshiba-EMI Records CP32-5272 1A1 TO ) 03.

CD with pre-emphasis only burn EAC or Feurio. I think some of these are now obsolete due to the 2011 remasters. I'd say DSOTM and WYWH are undoubtedly.
Objyasniteljnaya zapiska o nedostachah i izlishkah na sklade. I like the sound of the 2011 versions better than the above mentioned. The 2011 version of the Wall sounds flat and lifeless. I still like C2K-36183 better. And the MFSL version. In the case of Animals the 2011 remaster doesn't sound bad while I still prefer 32DP 360.
If you want to have the original Final Cut, to me 35DP 53 is the best choice. I think the JP Pressing of the 2004 version does sound a tad better, but has Tigers botched in. I have the above mentioned pressings of PATGOD, ASOS and More and OBC but I didn't A-B-compare them to the 2011 remasters. More does sound very good in the 2011 remaster, but i can't say whether it is better than CP32-5273. I don't know the CP32-5274 pressing of AHM, but I can say that I do love the MFSL.
For Ummagumma an unremastered CD is to be chosen for sure. I have a european 1st pressing (don't know matrix number) which I think uses the same mastering as the above mentioned.
But I'm not sure at all. This should be the easiest way, but as I understood it, even this is not a 100% working method. The Pre-Emphasis-Flag can be placed either in the Subchannel or in the TOC of the CD. If it is set in the subchannel, it will be ignored during copy with EAC. If you are ripping the CD to your HDD using EAC or foobar, the PRE-Emphasis flag will get lost aas it isn't part of the PCM-Stream. So the most reliable ways would be to: 1. Copy the CD to HDD with EAC as Single WAV/CUE combination > check the cue sheet if PRE Flag is set > if not, set it > copy this to CD using modified CUE-Sheet.
