UPDATE: I found the solution here (in the comments) 'For all of you who cant save your progress in FarCry 5 CPY edition: Here is the Trick: -> Goto the folder where CPY creates the save location, i.e goto Documents->CPY_SAVES->CPY->UPLAY->1803. Copy the contents and create a backup of it(mostly you will have 1 & 2). Now go to your game directory where you installed the game,eg.
Inside this folder create a folder called saves.Now goto Cpy.ini file and open with notepad. You will see a savepath there. Rename the savepath to something like this.' SavePath=D: Games Far Cry 5 saves '(no quotes required while pasting and change the directory to your directory eg.if game is installed in C: ProgramFiles it will be like SavePath = C: ProgramFiles Far Cry5 saves).
Now run the game you will see new game option. Now close the game and goto the Saves folder which you creates inisde the farcry 5 folder. You will see a new folder called CPY_saves.
