Epub Thumbnails In Windows Explorer
PDF thumbnail cover preview are shown already, fully functioning. Would be nice to have those file types also show cover previews. Kjk changed the title (Req.) EPUB, MOBI, CHM, AZW3, DJVU thumbnail cover view in Windows Explorer.
Adobe PDF e-Books can have a preview on Windows Seven, if Adobe Reader is installed. Similar stuff is present in Win7 for a lexicon of filetypes: But, unfortunately enough, we still lack a tool/ third-party app to enable thumbnail previews for other filetypes, that we often use in daily life, (for example *.pdb, *.chm, *.epub ebooks etc). Even if, we have a third-party viewer installed for all of them, the thumnail preview never appears (instead, they take up the filetype-icon) Many Media files can have icons with appropriate players/codecs installed: But, works need to be done for the e-book sector. I am new here, If I've broken any forum rules, please pardon me, and teach me the proper way. Similar help and support threads Thread Forum I had to reinstall firefox and now I have no thumbnail previews. I tried the about:config taskbar enable set to true route but it didn't work. I didn't know how much I depended on them until I didn't have them! I hope somebody can help! Browsers & Mail i tried both of these. Option 1: nothing happened.

Is there som way to disable thumbnails for each software partialy? I like thumbnail previews but not for browsers tabs so i would like keep them enabled on other soft. Customization I know Windows 7 comes with thumbnail preview like Windows Vista, but since I installed it it's only given the names of the open programs when I scroll over it versus the thumbnail photo.
