Hunichi adalah anak lelaki yang suka olahraga sehingga tidak heran jika ia atletis. Suatu hari yoyo punya teman sekolah Shunichi dirampas oleh anak nakal. Ingin menolong temannya, Shunichi yang sebenarnya belum pernah bermain yoyo, pun menantang bertanding yoyo dengan anak nakal itu. Tapi ia tahu beberapa jurus main yoyo sehingga berhasil menang dan yoyo itupun kembali pada teman Shunichi. Sejak itu, iapun mulai menyukai yoyo, apalagi melihat teknik hebat milik Seito Hojoin, pemain yoyo yang tangguh. Ketika kalah dari Seito dengan mudah, Shunichi sangat penasaran ingin bertanding ulang dengan saingan barunya, Seito. Setelah tahu Seito akan bertanding dalam turnamen yoyo internasional, Shunichi pun mendaftarkan diri untuk ikut turnamen tersebut untuk mengalahkan Seito.

Tapi waktu tidak lagi banyak bagi Shunichi untuk belajar teknik baru permainan yoyo maka ia dengan bantuan teman-temannya diantaranya Beso, Rian dan Benkei, pun berlatih siang dan malam untuk mempersiapkan dirinya.(ind*siar).
